“Can't believe that it was so simple to upgrade my old T12 fittings to LED. All I had to do was change the starter for the one supplied with the new tube. The light output is much better than the old fluorescent tubes, which incidentally were from Lampshop and had a very limited life of only 6 months and were used in my kitchen. Still find it surprising that the light comes on instantly.”

“So far so good. Fitted to an old fitting with electronic ballast, so removed the old ballast and adapted the wiring to send both live and neutral to one end only. Fitted new tube and it works just fine.”
