“This is a fantastic adroid tv pvr.The only thing missing at the momoent is it does not have netflix app for some reason.I am sure it will come as an update.Also, the Aura app for the phone has still not launched.”
“Been using this box for 3 weeks now instead of my older Humax HDR FOX-T2. What I like :- box is responsive, fast through menus & TV Guide; modern interface using Freeview Play; Freeview Play voice searching great idea (would be better if Humax automatically muted itself when doing it - less background noise); Can record 4 programmes at once - useful at Christmas; Remote scheduling of recordings works great; Reliable - only had to remove power once to resolve frozen box. Had to remove 1 star because device has some rough edges. These are :- (i) stepping through recordings forwards or backward can sometimes cause it play from the beginning; (ii) Watching TV screen suddenly goes blank with no sound for 3 seconds - Humax has just changed channel to the same channel (recording seem to be unaffected); (iii) Deleting a recording sometimes asks for a 4 digit passcode to complete the deletion, even though a passcode has never to set; (iv) Adjusting the volume beyond 30% there's a huge rise in volume level; (v) Android app Plex (preinstalled) won't play DTS5.1 movies - stuttering sound; (vi) No Netflix app; (Vii) Youtube app doesn't work. In summary this box performs and behave well as a PVR. A good software update will fix a lot of the niggles mentioned. As any Plex app fix is out of Humax's hands, and with no Netflix app, I'm still going to have to rely upon other equipment to provide these solutions.”
“Released way too early should have been tested properly. So many problems its laughable. Have reset it 3 times and restart everyday to try and fix problems.”
