“Don't bother. Box came twice without the necessary psu, cables and controller and then when they did send me the bits I needed, the recorder is faulty (prob what it was sent back for I guess). Not happy.”
“My third Humax box and they are fab. 1st was free sat which we still use to access on demand UPSTAIRS. Our second the HDMI output came loose after many years service in both home and caravan.”
“Human FVP-5000T 1TB refurbished was in good condition but not the original box. The unit video stutters when viewing one channel while it is recording another so the claim of recording 4 programs seems unrealistic. The unit is sluggish both in starting up and in responding to the remote control. The 'OK' button is used a lot, yet the letters on the button are not robust they have already been rubbed off. The sound volume of the unit needs to be at maximum for some programs so not flexible enough.”
“This is my second 5000T VCR which says everything. Its still slow to react to remote Commands but the fact you can record 4 programs at once says everything.
Please make the next version faster. The power light continues to be in a stupid position.”
“My previous Humax could only record 2 programs at a time and was pleased to find that they now have one that will do 4. Had previous Humax for over 10 years and still going strong so have good reason to stay with thier products. Easy to use and "does what it says on the tin"”
