“After close on 10 years I replaced my previous Humax recorder, and I have to say the software has taken a huge step BACKWARDS. I used to work in software managing multi year (and award winning) developments project and I can see the SW has not been designed in a user expetiance focused way, but designed by a software engineer!
I also have issue that MyHumax web page not working. I contacted customer services and their response was they cannot help, and now ignore my emails after I requested the case be escalated”
“Generally this works great, was reasonably easy to set up (though I don't use all the features. The main downside is how long it takes to navigate to new channels, access guide, and find info on each programme. I miss getting the summary of a programme within the channel menu, rather than having to click in and out of each show to find info on it.”
“I think the Humax is brilliant especially the universal remote which enables me to have just one control for tv and box. I love the freedom that having 4 channels gives me in recording. My only disappointing issue is the inability to run a browser to use the internet via the freeview box. Otherwise it does everything I can want of it.”

My wish list might include:
Improving sort order on recordings ( seems to be quite ramdon nether by date recorded or title, even titles split by broadcasters like Sony).
'Apps' leave a lot to be desired such as internet radio one does not include all UK internet radio, talking about which, shame internet 'app' available on other Humax products but not this one.”
