“Works fine but slow to turn on from standby and cumbersome menu. I came from Sky Q, like the run-rate cost comparison but interface is very inferior to Sky.”
“The start up time is way too long.
The indicator lights are too dim to be really useful. Never sure what the state of the Humax box is and whether to turn the box on or the TV on. Sometimes turning the box on turns the TV on straight away but other times there is a significant delay or the TV needs turning on independently.
When clicking through a recording using the >>| button sometimes the sound is muted. A quick >> >| button advances the recording by 2 minutes; this us way too long. The same button on my Humax Youview box advances the recording by 1 minute which is much easier to manage when progressing through a recording.
3) When a recording has completed the box goes straight to the live programme instead of back to the menu. This is right PITA when the recording is to be deleted after watching; the most common situation.
4) The back button does not behave as expected. Mostly it behaves more like the exit button and goes straight to the live programme rather than back to the previous menu which I would consider to be the expected behaviour.”
“Excellent product very happy with it. Lack of any RF out socket was not helpful as it caused us to buy additional equipment to run another television over our co-axil distribution system. Better and concise installation and operating instructions would be very helpful. Had to resort to google search for a few things.”
