“Would be very good, but for the constant lack of knowledge as to its status. I have no idea from the red and blue indicator lights whether it's on, off or recording. A display panel would be welcome, as would the ability to see the progress through playing a recording without pressing pause. My old Vestel clone machine had both features just mentioned. Apart from those niggles it makes excellent recordings, with a very clear EPG (much better than the TV's)”
“Works ok out of the box. My partner was easily able to see some stuff on iPlayer, so that is easy to use on this machine. Usually I have to select the AV channel on the Panasonic TV every time, but that's no real problem.”

“This is my second refurb box from Humax. Good condition, worked out of the box and easy to operate, good interface and smart looking, although a bit slow to boot up.
Only reason for four stars is the known problem with aerial signal pass through on low energy standby. Our normal tv signal started breaking up a soon as I wired this box into the aerial circuit, and was only solved by turning off the Energy saving setting on the standby as found in many forum sites, so it won't be on minimum energy consumption when turned off.”
