It is a good unit and performs better than the Goodmans box I had previously. However, I am disappointed as I cannot get Classic FM radio channel on this box. I have found this before on Freeview boxes, Some you are able to get all the radio channels, and others it is not possible. Has anyone got an explanation about this? I have not been able to find one.

This must be the 7th or 8th Humax I have purchased. for myself or family members. The last few have been "refurbished" models. One of my purchases failed (hard disk problem) after 5 years, another was one of the first into the country (November 2008?) and is still going strong. Thank you Humax for the years of enjoyment your machines have brought me.

This Recorder is excellent for the way I watch television, particularly non-BBC programmes with lengthy advertising interruptions which I first record and then watch when it suits me and can skip through the adverts in a few seconds. The Recorder's storage capacity is extensive and more than adequate.

This is the third Humax recorder I've purchased, 2 Freeview an 1 Freesat. Can't fault any of them and highly recommend Humax PVRs.

Received a refurbished model with a fault. Update to rectify had been available online since April but model received in December had not had the update loaded. Spent a week trying to get hold of Humax (due to Christmas holiday period) Very unhelpful person was very dismissive when I explained that the unit was not connected to the internet. Advised to go online and buy a cheap cable. Unit is situated about 20 metres from internet hub so cable would not be a cheap purchase. Gave up and ended the call
