Ordered 26/10 and arrived a couple of days later (not really "next day"), machine would not record, or pause, contacted Humax, agreed to replace. Waited in for collection,nothing... about a week later collected then replaced.. However , replacement worked for one day, then also failed to record unless rebooted daily..Requested money back, item collected a week later (19 November)...still waiting for my refund... but I do have a collection of about 20 Emails with Humax ..... I have now purchased a different machine.

Great little machine. Wouldn't go past Humax for reliability and ease of use.

Good picture ,sharp focus, just having occasional loss of signal , which I think is intermittent power failure from the AC Transformer supplied with the Recorder ,I will be asking for a replacement in due course !

Unfortunately this item was unable to receive the existing signal which we had. After discussion with your tech support it was agreed that I should return it which I have and a refund was made. Looking at forums this does not seem to be unusual. I have since purchased a Panasonic product which works perfectly !

Does what it says in the info manual, although it took this 78 year old a while to sort out the differences between the old hand set and the new one. ..All ok now and can record as normal my favourite programmes.

Very basic functionality. Recordings stored in different folders without icons so you don't know where a particular recording is. Slow interface. Suppose you get what you pay for.
