“When I made enquiry about the cruise I asked if a gluten free diet could be catered for I was told that it would be so I went ahead and booked . We had a wonderful cruise the included excursions were well planned and interesting. Meals were varied and well presented and my wife got gluten free meals as requested which made the cruise all the more enjoyable not having to worry.All the crew were very efficient and friendly.I will be booking another cruise with them again in the future.”
“Overall, the classic Severn Cruise was good. The places that we visited were very interesting. The boat itself was adequate, the food was excellent and tasty. The service was amazing, however, when I raised an issue about the air conditioning in my cabin the crew member agreed and said it wasn't working. Nobody came again to look at it or fix it.”
“Even though we were only a few miles from home we enjoyed this interesting break from routine. The crew were very cheerful and hard working. The meals were plentiful and varied. The weather was excellent and we were pleased that the temperatures had dropped from the previous 30's. We can thoroughly recommend a cruise on the Edward Elgar.”

But we did suffer a bit in the cabins. I would like to thank the crew who were particularly good, very helpful and pleasant. I would give the chef a medal for the meals he produced in that hot weather and small kitchen.
Maybe a stop at one of the pubs right on the river might have been good.”

“My wife and I were not familiar with this specific area, so it was very different for us.
Cruising along at a sedate pace was fine, and offered ample opportunities for watching the wildlife and the passing scenery.
The cabins are small but adequate, although we didn't particularly like having to use bottled water for tooth cleaning.
The meals were excellent and the crew were really good too.
We got on well with all the other passengers and this too hleped to make our cruise so enjoyable.
We had picked this particular cruise because it didn't have guided tours, as we prefer to go at our own pace due to me having some mobility issues, and this proved to be the right choice for us.
The only day tour was to Sudeley Castle and Gardens, and this was also unguided, so once again we could go at our own pace.
The weather was kind to us with only one morning of rain, and we were travelling down river then, so the only casualty was not being able to go up onto the top deck.
Our visits to Worcester, Stourport on Severn, Upton on Severn and Gloucester Docks all proved to be excellent for us, with plenty to see and do at each location.
Would we recommend this cruise to others? The answer to that is a definite yes”
