“The Steam Trains & Morgan Motors cruise provided a relaxing holiday with good company and a great crew. The food was excellent & well presented & the drinks plentiful. The accommodation was compact but comfortable, provided luggage was kept to a minimum. The Morgan Cars visit was the highlight of the tours, benefitting from an expert company guide.”
“Lovelly boat, well appointed, comfortable chairs and beds. Cabins were a miracle of compactness, shower worked well and was hot. Sailing up the river was lovely, so was Worcester. All good.
4 guests were over 90; several were in their late 80's. The Morgan factory tour was fascinating but too long for this age group, and the steam train rides were difficult for many guests to work out; we ended up relying on 2 of the guests who ended up taking responsibilities for times and tickets.”
“The cruise went well especially because of the weather.
Two things I have already mentioned is:-
1. Please have sharper Knives. It was difficult to cut some of the meat!
2. Getting back late from the trips because travel was slow owing to Rush Hour traffic meant one did not have much time to get ready for dinner.”
“Very comfortable and very well looked after. Tours interesting. Didn't do the Gloucester docks tour but walked to the cathedral. Alternative arrangements necessitated due to water levels.”
“The cruise was good with a couple of exceptions, ie. The first main meal was cold and I could not cut the lamb, the last meal was frankly horrible. Every other meal was really good and the chef was very kind about my being pork intolerant. Everything else was up to your usual good standard.”
“I thoroughly enjoyed this short holiday. The food was excellent. The visits to various locations were interesting and well organised. The cabins are small but adequate for all eventualities. The boat captains, Jay and Matt, were superb and the support staff Colman, Olivia and Vicky were very efficient and personable.”
