“We had a totally wonderful experience. The cabins were 'cosy' but very clean. At night the curtains kept them dark and there was no noise from the other guests' cabins. The food was superb (our thanks to Jack the chef) and the wine flowed generously. Every morning we enjoyed the beautiful scenery as the boat moved between locations and every afternoon was filled with either a visit to a town or an excursion (Sudely Castle in our case). The staff were lovely and the fellow guests were good company. A delight from start to finish.”

“A 'Classic Cruise' with a different view of nature.
Gently meandering along the River Severn, kingfishers were regularly seen along with many other water fowl.
Our crew were absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and help was always on hand if anything was needed.
Our chef produced three excellent meals each day, from a Full English Breakfast, lunch and a three-course dinner followed by cheese and biscuits. It was amazing what he was able to prepare and cook in such a confined area.
The itinerary worked very well and ensured nothing was missed. After breakfast, we would sail at about 0900, cruise to our next stop until lunchtime, have lunch and then spend plenty oftime ashore. Evenings were most enjoyable on board. After dinner there was a fun quiz, followed by time for a game of cards or scrabble. Night were very peaceful. No noise from engines or generators, ensuring a good nights sleep.
It was very much a different type of holiday which exceeded our expectations. Would we go again ? DEFINITELY !! Next year on one of the other 6 night cruises.

“Had a great time on the Edward Elgar with very friendly efficient crew. Cabins small which is to be expected but comfortable and high standard of cleaning. Every part of the cabin was made use of for storing. Only a small kitchen but the chef served up delicious meals every day and he was happy to make small adjustments when necessary. Enjoyed walking round the various stops plus the deck quoits, quiz nights and musical entertainment one evening whilst having our evening meal. Would definitely recommend this cruise.”

“This was a lovely holiday and would definitely recommend it. The boat was very comfortable , the cabins a bit small for two but comfy beds made up for the space. The food was excellent throughout, choice of menus varied and interesting. The staff were exceptional, led by Dan the Skipper, they looked after us, chatted with us and made sure everything was up to their high standards. Thank you for a very nice week.”

Can't reccommend this holiday highly enough. Lovely efficient staff, great food, super itinary and we feel looked after from start to finish.
