“I drove into the wrong parking area near the Control Tower.
Thanks are due to the wonderful gentleman wearing a bright orange coat who phoned my car registration number to a colleague, redirected me to the correct parking area, printed the exit ticket for me and then found me a choice of parking spaces in the right place. I should have noted his name but didn't. The time was just before 6.00pm on Tuesday 21st March so if you get a chance to thank the person on my behalf, please do.
Exit was smooth and efficient, being well signposted, and there were no surprises.

“We've used the Terminal Surface Parking at Edinburgh airport before, but returning this time, we were delighted to find that nobody had keyed the passenger door or front wing of our car!
So no need to pointlessly contact Edinburgh Airport Customer Services, or waste time asking if they could check their CCTV, or be blanked when asking for the contact details of their manager/Director.”
“East quick access to the terminal.
However was unaware of 2 hours Grace either side of flight times until I had made the payment.
As my flight arrived at Edinburgh at 23.30 I paid for 3 days whereas if I'd known earlier about 2 hours grace I would only have needed to pay for 2 days. This benefit could be made clearer at start of the booking process.”
“Second time we have prebooked terminal surface parking. Convenient for terminal. On the way home quicker when you have a late flight, out of arrivals and your car is a short walk away. Booking process is clear and easy with good information in follow up email. Will use again.”
