“I booked a space for our car at Edinburgh Airport from the 16th. May for 15 days. I received a confirming email with the order PPVGN207J.
On my return I found that I had entered the wrong carpark. I had entered the Long Stay when apparently this was not the correct one. It seems I should have parked in the Mid Stay park, which I had not seen.
.
On entering the airport on the 16th. it was confusing as to where to park, because I could see no signs to help.
The sign I saw and took to be the correct one had the same logo "Edinburgh Airport" as on my email,
I had to pay £20 to be released from that area on the 31st.
There should be a very much clearer indication as to where the different stays are.”

I can confirm that when picking your parking option you are promted to confirm your choice before entering payment details and confirming your booking. You are then sent an email confirmation of your booking which stated your chosen car park along with directions to the car park.
Plane Parking is signposted however we do have may different official Edinburgh Airport parking options therefore you will see our official logo quite a lot around the airport campus.
I’m sorry to hear you found our wayfinding confusing. Clear signage is one of the most important things to have in any busy environment, but especially in an airport. “I took one star of because when I came home and had to get out the barrier it didn’t go up , so I had to contact the help button, and the gentleman was very helpful and let me out , but it has happened a few times , but otherwise it’s a good place to park and I hav to say that the bus drivers are soooo nice and friendly”
“This was the first time using Plane Parking. I found it easy to locate the parking area, the barrier wouldn't let me through so I spoke to someone on the intercom and it was sorted immediately. I parked and made my way to departures. On returning the way back to the bus stop it was very well sign posted. When I reached the barrier and put the ticket in it showed that I owed £45 I spoke to someone on the intercom and was informed because I was late I was being charged that extra amount I told the person that the plane was late, however he sorted it and I was on my way home.
