“I booked in advance. When I arrived at the airport the machine didn't dispense a ticket automatically so I had to press the button for one. When I was leaving 3 weeks later, the barrier didn't open and the display said I had over £1000 to pay. I was shocked and concerned what if I actually not have booked. I called a guy on the intercom, thankfully he located my booking and said my registration had not been recognised on the way in. I usually rate the parking system highly, however, this time I was disappointed.”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes.

Dry car when coming back from travel.
The only problem is that occasionally the automated exit does not work on pre-paid stays
and you have to resort to calling the parking operator. No big deal, but makes me drom one star”
