It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes however, I'm glad you managed to get it sorted at the time.

“The parking was easy to book and the directions were clear. On arrival, the numerical indicators showing the number of spaces on each floor were inaccurate. Although they showed 40 or 50 spaces on some levels, they were in fact fully occupied and I had to drive round each level, before eventually finding a space on the roof. This cost me some time.
On arriving back at Edinburgh on my flight, the signage in the terminal is not very clear, so I ended up exiting the building near the tram stop, which was signed "Terminal Car Park". However, there was no clear route to enter the car park at this place and I ended up having to walk a very long way round and enter via the vehicle exit. This was very inconvenient and frustrating and I was one of several customers in the same position. This needs to be improved.”

“The parking for the multi storey although more expensive than the car parks on the periphery of the airport is much more convenient...luggage straight on to a trolley and right into the airport,when travelling with children or people with mobility issues this is so much less hassle...especially on the return journey...the only slight issue was our parking ticket wasnt accepted by the machine on the way out...had to speak to someone who checked our details before opening the barrier for us.”
“Once again the automatic system didn't work with the prepaid ticket, this is very common, and the system showing the number of free spaces on each floor is completely unreliable. Add this to the super high price, Edinburgh airport parking is very poor.”

We always encourage passengers to pre-book parking. We offer car parking pricing for 2 years in advance for different lengths of stay. Our pricing is dynamic and continually changes based on many different factors such as demand, occupancy and lead time making it possible for the pricing to change from booking to booking however, we offer competitive pricing against other providers.
