Easy access and parking with direct access to fast track on level 2. Costs more than your flight though‍♂️

Bought ‘refundable’ multi storey weeks in advance for friday 04.00 till monday 13.00 but due to storm Eowyun our flight was cancelled thursday about 14.00 and rescheduled by easyjet to saurday 06.00. Tried to change to move parking to saturday am till wednesday 13.00 as our flights changed. Not refundable as it was within 24hrs of start of booking. No refund or change to friday booking had to add on the ‘extra 2 days. False advertising with ‘refundable’ - can you guarantee weather 24 hours s in advance? Refundable should mean changes ‘before booking commences’ Poor product.

The space indicators in the multi story don’t work, 2nd floor showing 46 spaces, 3rd floor showing 134 spaces and on both occasions there were no spaces with cars driving around looking for spaces that don’t exist, once again when leaving the machine asks me to pay when it’s a prepaid booking, meaning I have to contact the attendant to go through my booking before getting out, both of these problems are long standing that you have failed to remedy for a few years, Edinburgh airport is a tragic enough experience and these types of small frustrating issues continue for year due to a lack of investment.

Parking was excellent, staff really helpful when leaving as anpr system didn’t get the reg number when leaving so was stuck at the barrier until the pre payment was verified. The price was extremely high compared to the other car parks as it is clearly a premium being able to walk to the terminal but more than twice the price for convenience is borderline profiteering of parents with children who don’t want to be outside moving from the car to the terminal.

Overall, a really good experience. Found a space easily, and the bridge made it super quick to get to fast-track security, which was included in the price. We were in duty-free about 10 minutes after parking. The only issue was when leaving—after putting in my ticket, the barrier didn’t lift and asked for £165, even though I’d prepaid. Had to call for help on the intercom, and they let us out after a couple of minutes. I’d just be worried if this happened late at night or early in the morning when it might be harder to get hold of someone.

Lack of availability of trolleys when parking is serious handicap and very poor service considering Multi storey parking is Premium service. This really needs sorted.
