“We were unable to access the correct entry point for the multi-storey car park due to construction works. We were directed to the next barrier which was surface parking. The ANPR did not recognise our vehicle so we pressed the button for help. We were told to press the button to take a ticket and call from the next barrier. We did this and at the second barrier was simply opened for us when we called. When we tried to exit the car park on our return it wanted to charge us £520! So again we had to call for assistance.”
