“Upon arrival it seemed extremely busy, however, the queues to get in went very quickly and once you were in it didn't feel too crowded. Lots to do for all different ages. Wheelchair and pushchair accessible. The facilities were all working and were relatively clean”
“Our kids love it. The Gruffalo trail is lovely for the little ones, as long as the adults remember it's for the little ones (I'm not reviewing people... I just...)
The zoo has a good range of animals and activities so would recommend it.”
“Butterfly house was great and nice to see all the animals out and about. We took our own picnic so didn't end up buying food their. And the ticket lasts all year”
“My daughter and son already had an annual ticket pass so I decided to take some time off work over Easter and buy a ticket so we could all go to the zoo together. I asked my daughter if we should book but she said there was no need during the week. When purchasing my ticket I had to book so we decided on a day and time. On the morning I travelled to my daughter’s house and i reminded her it was school holidays and was she sure she shouldn’t book. At this point she tried to but couldn’t get a slot on the day. We decided to go anyway and while my daughter parked the car I asked if there was anything we could do as my daughter hadn’t booked. The girl on customer services was really helpful and took my daughter’s details and booked her in. We were both thrilled and had a really nice day, which my grandson really enjoyed…particularly the giraffes ☺️. Thank you for helping us out that day, it was very much appreciated.”
“We visited the zoo with 2 young children, the zoo is desperate for a large cash injection really, no elephants, tigers or lions, a lot of animals nowhere to be seen which is a shame, all in all it tots up to an expensive day out when you have drinks and food etc and need the day to be special so that you can recommend to people or return.”
