“The course was very informative and I learnt a lot. The only criticism is the quiz at the end because there was so much to take in I had to redo it about 3 times as I am an older person and my memory is not as good now as when I was younger and the questions kept changing every time I did it. On other courses they switch the questions around but keep the same questions.”

“Happy to read for it myself, rather than having it slowly read to me. However, this continually resulted in me getting a message that I was going too fast despite waiting far more than the enforced 10 seconds. The content was basic assuming you are starting with no knowledge, so painful if you have experience recruiting. However, this was selected by my company, so not CPD fault”

“I seemed to get stuck in some of the units and needed assistance from IT to move on to the next Unit. I also felt that some of the questions in the quiz at the end hadn't been covered in the body of the course and I had to research the answers.”

“The course was good but I felt there were a few areas which could have done with more detail, for example on using a standardised scoring system at shortlisting and interview stage. The most useful bits for me were about doing the identity verification and other checks. I would have preferred a greater range of images, there was some ethnic diversity represented but very little that was not in a formal office setting. This will not represent many of the workplaces of people doing the course.”

“The course content was good and easy to follow and absorb. The thing I found very distracting were the visuals. They really need updating. We don't all work in corporate environments and I got a bit fed up of just seeing suits and shirts. And then we got to disabilities and accessibility!!!! The visuals of suited, able-bodied models sitting in hospital porter style wheelchairs are out of touch and not an adequate representation.”
