“The course covered the basics of recruitment but did not touch on safer recruitment which is required in a social care setting. The title therefore seems misleading. When carrying out safe recruitment training in the past it has included steps of following up references with phonecalls to verify them and much more detail about references. This course does not include this information.”

“This is a course about the recruitment process, not safer recruitment. If you work with children or vulnerable adults , avoid ! Very disappointing when we have paid for the whole management team to complete this course.”

“I think having the mini quizzes helped with the preparation for the test. Of all the tests I have done, I found this one probably the easiest to do, wasn’t too much reading like most online courses!”

“I found the wording of some of the questions confusing throughout the quiz. For example, "Which group of candidates will employers likely look for first when sifting through applications?" - the correct answer is "those who do not meet the job description", with a conflicting answer of "those who meet the essential parts of the job description", a logical answer, to be incorrect. To me, the question needs to be reworded or the options of answers need to be reworded as, in my eyes, both answers have equal and correct value. I also found the answer of having a "person specification" to be confusing, is this to reference a CV?”
