Earthborn's Ecopro Matt Emulsion is a fantastic, environmentally and Vegan friendly alternative to conventional emulsion paints. It has minimum VOC's and is free from Oils and Acrylics, making this a safe paint for you, your home and the environment. Area of application: Eco Pro Matt emulsion is best used on ceilings and walls that have modern plasters and finishes that require no breathability. Important to note: Eco Pro Matt emulsion cannot be used on Lime Plaster because the moisture vapour value is too low and will trap moisture. Earthborn Claypaint is more suitable for lime plaster.  When using on wood, you may wish to further protect toys with a furniture wax or furniture glaze. Coloured paints of this product were discontinued in March 2021. Ingredients Water Chalk Talcum Phosphate Sodium hydroxide Titanium dioxide Vinegar ester Pigments 0.1% synthetic preservative Application: Can be applied by brush, roller or spray....

eco-friendly trade emulsion at a reasonable price - perfect for mist coats, but a decent paint in its own right

For the price you can't go wrong coverage is good, nice thick paint you can water down for base coat. It does come with solid lumps you have to remove but all in all a great paint

I used this to paint the block walls on my workshop. The paint suffers from skinning and unfortunately the transport process breaks the skin up and (in the case of one out of three pots) distributed it throughout the paint. This does make the paint a little difficult to use, but as I was using a roller the lumps of "skin" mostly flew off... The paint is very thick and I had to add approx. 35 to 40% water for the first "mist" coat. The subsequent 2 coats were diluted by 10 to 15% to achieve easy coverage and to get the paint into the rough surface. The end result is good, although it was hard work rolling block work (i wish I has a sprayer) and I will use the paint in the house as it has a very pleasant finish and very little odour. I have used Earthborn clay paints in my previous house, which was lime-plastered single-skin brick to good effect.

Lovely paint with great coverage. Used a 80/20 mix with water of new lime plaster and was amazed how well it applied. Only 1 more coat was then needed and the results are fantastic. Will definitely use again
