Earthborn - Ecopro Matt Emulsion Reviews

Read Celtic Sustainables Reviews

Earthborn's Ecopro Matt Emulsion is a fantastic, environmentally and Vegan friendly alternative to conventional emulsion paints. It has minimum VOC's and is free from Oils and Acrylics, making this a safe paint for you, your home and the environment. Area of application: Eco Pro Matt emulsion is best used on ceilings and walls that have modern plasters and finishes that require no breathability. Important to note: Eco Pro Matt emulsion cannot be used on Lime Plaster because the moisture vapour value is too low and will trap moisture. Earthborn Claypaint is more suitable for lime plaster.  When using on wood, you may wish to further protect toys with a furniture wax or furniture glaze. Coloured paints of this product were discontinued in March 2021. Ingredients Water Chalk Talcum Phosphate Sodium hydroxide Titanium dioxide Vinegar ester Pigments 0.1% synthetic preservative Application: Can be applied by brush, roller or spray....

Great opacity, even watered down. Some lumps needing fishing out, but would use again for mist coat.

A nice soft white, easy to use, odourless but took 3 coats to cover so time consuming and you need a lot of paint!

Lovely texture and colour. Easy to paint with next to no smell. Great service from Celtic Sustainables as well. Will definitely use again.

Paint covers really well (white over orange), very low odour, easy to wipe spillages. All in all very happy with it. The only negative for me was the packaging. Firstly the paint tin is a weird oval shape which doesn't sit on my ladders nor chairs very easily and this design makes it awkward to pour it into another receptacle - I resorted to spooning it out. The paint arrives in a large cardboard box which is full of crushed polystyrene bits - certainly not 'eco' as written on the tin. Two 10 litre tins filled two large black bin bags and stuck to clothing hair and anything else whilst trying to dispose of it. However, at the end of the day I would recommend this paint.

Love earthborn paint, thick and great coverage and looks fantastic once on. Only negative is paint had clearly been sat for a while as skin on top which had to fish out of paint on opening.
