Earthborn's Ecopro Matt Emulsion is a fantastic, environmentally and Vegan friendly alternative to conventional emulsion paints. It has minimum VOC's and is free from Oils and Acrylics, making this a safe paint for you, your home and the environment. Area of application: Eco Pro Matt emulsion is best used on ceilings and walls that have modern plasters and finishes that require no breathability. Important to note: Eco Pro Matt emulsion cannot be used on Lime Plaster because the moisture vapour value is too low and will trap moisture. Earthborn Claypaint is more suitable for lime plaster.  When using on wood, you may wish to further protect toys with a furniture wax or furniture glaze. Coloured paints of this product were discontinued in March 2021. Ingredients Water Chalk Talcum Phosphate Sodium hydroxide Titanium dioxide Vinegar ester Pigments 0.1% synthetic preservative Application: Can be applied by brush, roller or spray....

Very good paint. Never had any bad surprises with it. Perfect for under coat diluted with water as well as a finishing coat. Works perfectly on breathable fibre lining paper and wood coving. Quick dry, doesn't smell. But one important point is that this paint is breathable, perfect for lime plaster.

We used Earthborn Ecopro Matt White for our walls. It was painted onto walls in our 80yr old house. The walls had been stripped of wallpaper and they had a lot of cracks and uneven areas, so needed a lot of filling. That left us with a very uneven coloured wall to paint onto- lots of white patches from filler and darker areas of older plaster. The matt white only just about covered the walls after three coats, but you could still see the colour was uneven and it looked really patchy. There were also areas on the ceiling where there must have previously been a little bit of water damage or staining of some kind, and the matt white didn't cover those marks well. One little patch/stain had six coats and it's still showing through. Luckily we had a tester pot of EcoPro LoSheen and that covered the marks on the ceiling much better. We ended up buying a pot of ecopro "blossom" colour to rag roll over the white walls, which hid the patchyness of the white. It was good to have a paint that was safe to use, but frustrating the matt white didn't have great coverage for our particular situation. We also used EcoPro Eggshell for the woodwork and this is still uneven after three coats. The wood we painted was sanded skirting boards, door, windowsill etc, all previsouly painted white.
