“Shifter itself feels great but had to re use the old bushing as the one supplied with the kit had no chamfered edge which made it nearly impossible to fit , appart from that a really good shifter”

Hello Noah, Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to see that there's been trouble with installing your short shifter to your NB Mx-5. This item can be installed on the 5 speed version of the NB Mx-5, You'll require to remove one of the pins to install this shifter in the Later NB models. “A short installation manual would have been nice. Especially since it wasn't obvious that the second pin in the shifter (some 5 Speeds have that) can be pushed back.”

“For the money you can't complain too much, but fitting instructions would make it a better purchase. Having said that, installation is pretty easy with the help of YouTube.”
