Good feel, very short now. Not particularly easy to install but a few good videos make things much clearer

great shifter, well priced. really like the throw of it. would be nice if there was a manual included, but youtube gets you there. new lower shift bushing did not fit, so i had to use the oem one.

Everything was ok, th shifter feels amazing after install, but the lower plastic bushing is not fit for the NA Miata or any miata at all. It’s simply too big so you have to reuse the old one or buy the brass oem+ one, tho I am not sure of the second. After figuring put this part, the install was dandy although I waited for 2 weeks for the shifter to arrive, I’m giving it 4 stars.

I am very satisfied with the feel when I shift. The installation was very easy, there are 2 things I would like to note though. If you have an Mk2 you will have to knock back one of the 2 pins. It can be done, it just takes some persuasion. I took a hammer and a ratchet extension and went to town with it. One more thing is that the bushing that it comes with is not good. Use the oem or buy a brass one for a crispier feeling. About the washers: remove the wave one and the plastic one under the pins, put upside down the aluminum replacement and the place them on top (wave washer first, just like it was in the first place). Then place the shifter (make sure it clicks on the base (and the bushing is in). After that you are going to put the plate and then the tabbed washer with the plastic ring. Put the plates and you are done. I would say that the hardest part was to knock the pin out. I hope this review helped! :)
