Our Galician Whole Beef Fillet is sourced from the highest quality beef in Galicia, Northwest Spain. We only use retired dairy cows between 8 and 12 years old, which are chubbier and have a higher percentage fat content, giving the fillet a distinct and unique flavour. The beef is dry-aged for a minimum of 7 days, allowing for natural grass-fed marbling. This lean, mean, and tender cut is prized for its quality and can be enjoyed as steaks or a roast.

“Product received on time and perfectly packaged. Over 2.5kg in weight, labelled from Carsegal carnicería in Lugo (Galicia) , identified as old cow (maturation not defined ? would have been nice to know). Type of cow not defined ? (would have been nice to know “raza”) On opening of package the product was complete and not frozen, some trimming required but not extensive. Prepared in thick fillets, left to come to room temperature over 2 hours. Salted with Maldon, seared on each side to our preference of rare. On tasting, as expected, flavoursome and correct washed down with a nice bottle of Mauro. At this price it was well worth the purchase, this product doesn’t disappoint, to be repeated !!!”
