At Basco, we source the finest Galician beef from the Northwest of Spain. Our Galician beef range comes from retired Frisona dairy cows between 6 and 8 years old, allowing for natural grass-fed marbling. These older cows have a higher percentage fat content and more marbling, resulting in a unique and distinct flavor. Each Galician rib steak is dry-aged for a minimum of 35 days. The meet is so hard, shouldn’t happy for mid-rare cook, must from a very old cow.

One of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. Salt, pepper, garlic and heat: needs nothing more as the excellent layers of fat provide all the flavour needed.

It's a bit disappointing - too much fat, meat was not really tender either. The fillet was much better.
