At Basco, we source the finest Galician beef from the Northwest of Spain. Our Galician beef range comes from retired Frisona dairy cows between 6 and 8 years old, allowing for natural grass-fed marbling. These older cows have a higher percentage fat content and more marbling, resulting in a unique and distinct flavor. Each Galician rib steak is dry-aged for a minimum of 35 days. I have ordered this a few times now. This time I was able to barbecue it and nice and rare but with a ‘Chicago dear’. Melt in your mouth goodness!

Get the cooking right and this is possibly the best steak you'll ever eat. It has and incredible depth of flavour thanks to the fat marbling and a satisfying grain which has texture but isn't hard to chew in the slightest. 'Highly recommended' doesn't quite do it justice.

Exceptional flavour. Easily served three people plus a bone for the dogs. Couldn’t recommend enough. Just a tip if you don’t like raw meat. I cooked mine on a BBQ 10 minutes each side then chucked in the oven for 20 mins. I know this goes against how it should be served but I prefer my meat properly dead
