Our Suckling Pigs are sourced from Segovia, the traditional home of suckling pig production. The piglets are milk-fed for up to 21 days, resulting in meat with a fine texture and rich, incomparable flavor. Each rack includes the loin and ribs, excluding the legs. Cook the rack by roasting, grilling, or barbecuing. To roast, place skin side down in a preheated oven at 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4 for 30 minutes, then turn so the rack is skin side up for an additional 30 minutes until the skin is crisp. Receive one individually vacuum-sealed frozen pack.

What can I say? I’m new to Basco but this is my second rack as it’s so very good, just wish my oven was big enough for a whole suckling pig!

Melt in your mouth. Good party piece. Cook for two hours around 150c covered and then another hour without foil (can throw in veggies and increase temperature to 180c) for crispy skin.

Really tasty change to traditional British Christmas Dinner. Followed the cooking instructions from the website. Were rewarded with a delicately flavoured, juicy, pork meat and the thinnest, crispy crackling. Best way to eat it is with your fingers and enjoy the experience. The recipe for the gravy and buttered potatoes worked well as an accompaniment. If the products from Basco are of this quality, well packaged and delivered within 48 hours of ordering, we will use them again for Spanish produce.
