Suckling Pig Rack, 1kg, Segovia Origin, Loin and Ribs Reviews

4.6 Rating 58 Reviews
Read Basco Fine Foods Reviews

Our Suckling Pigs are sourced from Segovia, the traditional home of suckling pig production. The piglets are milk-fed for up to 21 days, resulting in meat with a fine texture and rich, incomparable flavor. Each rack includes the loin and ribs, excluding the legs. Cook the rack by roasting, grilling, or barbecuing. To roast, place skin side down in a preheated oven at 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4 for 30 minutes, then turn so the rack is skin side up for an additional 30 minutes until the skin is crisp. Receive one individually vacuum-sealed frozen pack.

This was a fabulous roast pork dinner which had our guests smiling and asking for more. A great product and a real treat the recipe works so well with roast potatoes and veg.

This created the most beautiful crackling I have ever had, the whole skin was perfectly crisp and golden. No need for fancy tricks with scoring the skin, hair drying the skin dry etc.... just covered with oil and salt and it was perfect. Will be buying again and have recommended to many many people....
