“I have cooked whole suckling pigs before and they can’t be beaten for flavour. I decided that this would make a lovely treat for my husband’s birthday meal. Yes it was tasty, but there was more fat than I expected and the cooking instructions on the website are for a 2.5kg roast when you sell a 1.9 kg roast wow I then had to start adjusting cooking times - not ideal. The cracking did not crisp up - but maybe that was my fault , I don’t know? All in all, I was very disappointed. My husband’s meal, whilst not a disaster, was not the special occasion I envisaged. I shall buy the whole pig next time”

“We bought this Suckling Pig for a dinner party, it certainly hit the spot and impressed! We used Javier's Roasted Boneless Suckling Pig recipe roasting it with garlic and chopped vegetables. Seriously good! The service was fist class too, we could not recommend Basco highly enough.”
