“Absoloutly awful. The meat was tough, even though I followed the recipe to the T. It was more like an old pig. No flavour at all except earthy mud. Definately not worth £80 It was embarassing serving it to my family.”

“Dreadful. Absolutely dreadful. Not like Suckling pig at all (and we've eaten a few and cooked them as well in Spain). A lot of the meat couldn't be cut with a knife let alone eaten and the skin was far too thick and did not make the delicious crackling that cochinillo normally has.”

“This was absolutely fantastic, had a group of friends around for a planning meeting about our motorcycle tour of Spain this summer so I went Spanish for dinner. The suckling pig was the centre piece and everyone loved it. The quality of the meat was second to none and it was simple to cook. Served it with crunchy roast potatoes and giganta bean tapas and roasted vegetables. Will definitely be buying again and I highly recommend it for special occasions or whenever you have a crowd around I fed 8 people easily.”

“This is the bee's knees. Super delicious and easy to cook. I'd suggest a tweak to the instructions: to finish off under a hot grill for 5 mins for crisp skin (but you need to stand next to the grill and rotate the joint to ensure even crisping). Would totally buy this, over and over.”
