Bought two of these “miss piggies” to try on the bbq when the weather warms up. Read other peoples reviews so although we haven’t eaten ours yet, we are giving a good score. Love the added recipe to follow. Purchased many things from Basco and everything has been delicious. Delivered promptly, well packaged and frozen items really well insulated in transportation. Basco is our “go to” online treat website under lockdown. Thank you Basco!

Just excellent. I lived in Spain for a number of years and being able to get delicacies like cochinillo again has been wonderful. Thank you Basco

Bought 2 of these and had one on the first Sunday. Wanted to cook it on the Kamado bbq but the weather wasn’t very good but it was equally impressive cooked in the oven. To die for!

This made a perfect Christmas Day lunch, was originally for six people and they would have been ample - but due to Covid only two and it lasted three days inc sandwiches and served hot on the third day caramelised with maple syrup. Cook long and slow and the meat is self basted, turn up the heat at the end for fabulous crackling. We have just purchased another for the freezer for our first post Covid get together with friends. P.S. Defrost slowly in the fridge over a few days if possible to allow the meat to relax as it thaws.
