“I had been baking for about a year and was getting more and more frustrated with my old scale (top consumer brand about half the price of KD8000). I finally decided to try this scale and loved it from the first use. It’s quick and very accurate. Now I know my formulas are consistent and it shows in the breads. The scale is light easy to use and clean (I use it a lot so I removed the display cover) the best I ever used. I recommend it to anyone who struggles with their scale.”

The hinged clear cover designed to protect the display and keypad although it is removable (if it doesn't break first!). I recommend getting the mains adapter if you plan on doing any serious baking.”

“Liked these scales immediately as they compare favourably with the many digital scales I have used before. The platform detaches for easy cleaning. The scales have an excellent range as they weigh up to 8 kg, which works well for me. I bought them with the additional mains adapter as back up when faced with empty batteries. Most scales don't give you that option. In the past I had bought scales in the same price range which were of rather disappointing quality, as they failed within a year of use and the free replacement did play up as well. This one looks like it is going to last. Only minor point I have to comment on is the small platform which works well with bowls but is a little too small for scaling dough. Nevertheless excellent piece of equipment.”
