bought these along with the electric transformer. worth every penny. very easy to use and read. I leave mine plugged in but only turn socket on when i need to. always ready to use. at 68 yrs. old i have had many scales over the years and these are by far the best. I am still in pounds and ounces could never get used to metric even after living in europe on and off.

I have just bought these so haven't used them for long but they are brilliant compared to cheaper digital scales I have been using. They weigh small quantities very accurately. One of the most pleasing things is that the plastic cover opens in such a way that any flour spilt goes on it when its open so that the buttons don't get covered with flour. They don't take up much space in the cupboard and I bought the adaptor too so that I never need to find the batteries flat when I get them out. Delighted to have them and wish I'd bought them ages ago.

I got a set of these scales as a birthday present and am delighted with them. They are very sensitive to light additions of ingredients - as low as a gram - which wasn't the case with my old scales. Also with a maximum load of 8 kg they happily accept a heavy pottery mixing bowl plus the addition of all ingredients.

I've used these scales enough now to say that they're the best I've ever used and I've been baking for many years.
