“these scales have some good features. They are a good size so can take a large mixing bowl on top easily. They can hold a lot of wait. The 'hold' and '%' functions are a nice addition. The AA batteries are much better then the button batteries that other scales take and the plug in ability is also good. However, the one flaw is the claim to 1g resolution. I have not found this to be the case. When weighting small amounts of yeast the scale will stay at 0g then suddenly jump to 2 or 3 grams.”

“My old scales were on the way out and I needed a replacement so I bought some off Amazon which were useless. As I had started baking more I decided to invest in a decent set of scales. After doing a bit of research I settled on these. Whilst a lot bigger than the standard kitchen scales I am used to, they are great to use and extremely accurate.”

The KD8000 is easy to setup - AA battery or mains power - nice clear backlit screen - adjusts from Imperial to Metric - no Fl.oz or mls measurement but that’s not a problem really.
