“First time trying fresh yeast (except for the 9yr old 'creature' in the fridge, my sourdough starter) and liked it. It smelled of apples, mixed in well and gave the expected rise. A lovely soft well risen loaf. Would use again. Could this be kept alive and fed in the fridge? will try and see.”

“At first it was difficult to adjust from fresh yeast I buy locally to this organic one, the amount of it I put when I make my breads and the flavour - was different but only because I used to! As soon as I did little tweaks in my recipe - it’s the best quality bread and I’m very happy I switched to the organic yeast. Fresh yeast always gives you the best result in flavour! I use all organic flour, milk, butter so this purchase fit into my a complete organic produce for my children and my family. It’d be great if the company packs 50g instead of 42g as it seems the weight doesn’t fit for two loafs (700g each) when 50g would make it perfect. Also would be great to buy 200g pack at least as 500g is too much for my small family. In any case a huge thank you for the organic yeast , I appreciate it so much thank you!”
