Yeast works out adding sugar to the water to activate, but with sugar Bioreal Yeast proves the dough faster, and produces a light, airy result, without the need for specialist ciabatta flour. I choose BakeryBits as my preferred supplier because being a household of one, I only need small amounts of fresh yeast, and Bakery Bits has a Royal Mail postage option for 2 x 42g cubes of Bioreal Yeast - other suppliers were having to charge a £6 shippment fee - but Bakery Bits gives faster shippment options if wanted. The yeast cubes arrive in usable condition - posted in a jiffy bag - and sometimes an extra cube has been put in for free due to it's short use by date.

“This didn’t work for me. The freshness was not there. I called bc the use before this date was in 7 days. Concerned I was told it would keep but it didn’t. I’ve used Bioreal before and loved it that’s why I ordered it but not the same. I made focaccia and no one liked it. The flavor was off.”
“Use this in baking bread in my BreadMachine, much better than any dried Yeast. Only downside is delivery costs. Used to have a Royal Mail choice, but now a delivery cost that makes it too expensive until you buy many other to make cost effective. Great service and great product.”
