“I recently bought Vanessa's Pizza Kit, including organic durum semolina. The resulting pizzas were pronounced best ever by the family. Praise doesn't come any higher for a family man! Some of the semolina went in the dough, which gave excellent bread. Was the semolina the secret ingredient? Some went on the peel so that the pizzas slid off the peel onto the baking stone. This was crucial. But could I have achieved the same mechanical effect with cheaper semolina? All good food for thought!”
