“Works extremely well, and the fact that it folds flat is a bonus. It's a minor gripe, but the power lead won't fit inside when it's folded, so has to be stored separately. The main issue is that despite being an effective product, it is stonkingly expensive for what it is.”
“A well designed temperature controlled bread proofing box which adds certainty to dough proving. What I liked - easy to set up & use, large proving space which easily accommodates a food mixer bowl, folds away for easy storage. What I didn’t like - a bit flimsy when opened out.
On the whole I am very happy with it & my bread definitely proves better,”
“The purchase of two dough scrapers and a new loaf tin seems was incidental - I picked them up in passing while evaluating the Brød & Taylor Folding Proofer, which was the crucial purchase. It has had a transformative effect on my breadmaking. That was so important that I didn't pay much attention to the slow cooker function: but that, too, has now become an important part of my culinary resources. And every time I use the proofer or slow cooker I am amazed by the elegant and efficient design. Nothing is perfect: my first (and as yet only) attempt at yoghurt-making was a wretched failure: but I think that's probably down to my incompetence.”
