Pleased with the purchase, use it for sourdough and yeast breads - gives consistent rise and proof times regardless of kitchen temperature. Also looking forward to making yoghurt with it.

Brod and Taylor proofer has transformed my sourdough baking. It is now possible to keep my dough at a constant temperature throughout the process prior to baking (or refrigeration). Brilliant piece of kit and only wished I had bought one earlier.

I've only used it as a proofer so far, not as a slow cooker or yogurt maker. It works well as a proofer. My only issue is that it is a little bit flimsy and I'm never quite sure if it is as sealed as it should be to be more efficient and prevent draughts. I know this is the cost of having it able to fold down, which is definitely a benefit since it's quite big.

I was finding challenging to find somewhere to buy a Broad and Taylor proofer and I am so grateful I found Bakery Bits. Communication was very good. I’ve had this a few weeks now and I’m really enjoying using this for my bread, Makes all the difference being able to co troll the temperature. I’ve learnt quite a lot about the rate of fermentation by just playing around with the tempereature. Before, I would have been none the wiser! It’s great that it can be folded up and put away in the cupboard out of the way when not in use.

For any really serious baker this is a must, I’ve used commercial provers and this would equal the standards of any of them, bread, buns or croissants this works great
