Excellent! I have tried various bread recipes and all come out with a beautiful crust and flavour. The best and my favourite is the recipe I had from my nonna made on a bigga and baked in a brick oven. It was always good baked here in the UK in my Everhot range, but with the Baking dome it closely resembles the bread that my nonna used to bake in the village oven! Highly delighted and I would recommend this to all serious bread lovers. For Everhot users I would suggest pre-heating in the simmering oven whilst preparing the dough so that it is not "shocked" when put into the baking oven at 220c.

Having used a cast iron pot with lid for some time, I found it was difficult to get the loaf in and out when hot. I therefore decided to invest in a La Cloche Baking Dome, which I am so pleased with. It is easy to load and unload the loaf as the base is nice and shallow, and it cooks the bread better than the casserole. It is also much lighter to handle which is particularly useful when hot. All in all, a very good buy.
