“I got this tin to replace a steel one of similar shape which had become decidedly sticky(not helped by seasoning it with olive oil). It is used to routinely bake 2-3 loaves a week. I have had problems with it because aluminium is a poorer conductor of heat than iron. This resulted in the first couple of loaves having soggy bottoms. I have cured this by extending cooking times by 20% and tipping the loaf out for the last few minutes of baking. Would I buy it again? yeess.. unless I find a steel tin which is genuinely non stick..”
