“Disappointed to see some of the finish has come off the external edges when I have only used it once especially as it was to replace a different pan where the finish came off. However I did get a good bake with the loaf.”

“I bought 2 of these in the hope that they would help my wholemeal rye sourdough loaves. My older, non-perforated, and taller old-fashioned style tins were producing bread that was far too sticky. Reducing the water used in the recipe did not solve the problem because, when I did that, the loaves did not rise fully. Longer baking didn't work either. On first use, the new tins have produced bread which is a huge improvement, almost certianly due to the perforations and also because the cross-sectional area of the loaves is smaller, so water probably escape more easily. The loaves are almost perfect - perhaps a slightly longer bake next time and we're done!”
“The perforations make sure that the crust of the loaf is well formed. It is a good shape. Previously I have baked bread in loaf tins such as are used for cakes, this gives a much more professional as well as a nicer loaf.”
