“This is THE stone to buy if you are shopping around. I've tried a few from basic pizza 'stones' to firebrick. This does the job and can help compensate for an oven that does not retain heat well. On first use, I saw dramatic improvements through better lift in the oven.

“I'm really pleased with my baking stone. After much internet searching your stone is the only one that fits my oven. I leave it on the oven base permanently.
The flavour of my first loaf was really good. It did lose its shape somewhat but as the stone is so big there is plenty of room for spread! But I'm enjoying making sourdough very much and am looking forward (with more practise) to baking that perfect loaf! Thank you very much for making that possible.”
“I purchased this item as a Christmas present, after only using it a few times we noticed a crack. I contacted customer support who were extremely helpful and super responsive. I was offered a refund or replacement, I went for the replacement as it was a gift for my husband. A replacement was promptly sent and whe. I received it it was broken. I contacted you straight away and sent photos. Again super response and very apologetic, a second replacement was sent out. Again the item was broken on arrival, I contacted Bakery Bits again and sent photos and mentioned they may wish to look at their packaging and or delivery people, this time no response, I followed up with a second email - again no response. This is over 2 weeks ago. I was not going to follow this up again, as your lack of response means you do not wish to follow this up. I would not have bothered to contact you again on this matter but since you are interested in my feedback I have responded. So very unhappy will not use or recommend you any further”
