Having recently discovered the world of Malt and all its uses I was recommended this by a chef. So far I have used it in place of nuts in a carrot cake which worked very well and I have also used it in some marshmallows so add a crunch and bring out the flavour of the other ingredients. I will be using these in many more things and highly recommend the Bakery Bits company.

We were struggling to make a malted bread that we liked. The two products we bought from bakery bits did exactly what we wanted.

I have to admit to preferring malty-flavoured breads, often with added strong-flavoured nuts (whole, halved or ground), e.g.pecan, walnut, etc.; I've tried all sorts of 'additions' and Nuttimalt is turning into one of my favourites additives. If your proclivities (on the bread flavour front, that is), give it a try.
