“I bought two round bannetons and they were slightly smaller than the two I had already which were bought from another supplier a few months ago. Althought the difference in size is slight it does make a difference overall and they are actually a little too small for me. Additionally the quality was not quite as good as the ones I already had. The joints are a bit rough, it would be easy to cut your finger on one. There were stray strands on the inside of the baskets, I smoothed these off with some fine sandpaper as I was worried they would come away with the dough when I turned the loaf out.”
