“I decided to try this small banneton for a comparison to the cane. I am not an experienced sour dough maker as yet, but it seems a reasonable option, even if not as aesthetically pleasing as the cane versions. I did notice that the dough seemed to stick more to the cloth in this plastic banneton and I wondered if this is because it doesn't breathe like the cane ones do (presumably?)”
