“I must admit the name of this tool amuses m, as whisking is not something you usually associate with dough. But it does a very good job of mixing moister doughs, poolishes, batters and the like. For stiffer doughs I revert to my scraper. Perhaps if I had the biceps of a stevedore I'd manage to use it for that too!”
