I tried to buy a peel locally but nobody sold them. This is ideal. It's strong and lightweight and does the job perfectly. I used the semolina as suggested and it slid straight into the aga. No burnt arms. Aga no longer make a peel and the local cookshop felt lots were flexible when the dough went on them. This one isn't. Overall an excellent product quickly despatched and well packaged.

This is a good product on the whole, especially given the price, however, I would like to see one improvement. Some peels I have used have one side that is completely flush with no extruding rivets, which makes it much easier when sliding in and out of the oven. The handle is nice and long and I use this for an outside wood fired oven so having a flush, flat side helps to get the peel into the oven without catching the front base of the oven floor. Over time this would damage the oven base. As a result you have to slide the peel in at a slightly raised angle to avoid catching the base with the rivet heads.
