“When these came back on sale had to try one on my Marantz AV8804A pre/pro. Compared to the Pangea 14SE I was using previously, I noticed how much cleaner the sound was. Goes to show that the more insulation within the wire goes a long way to improving the sound as well.”

“The AC 14 XL cords have made a great sonic improvement over the original black rubber cords on my equipment. I really like the fact that I could choose cords of the appropriate length and that they are flexible, unlike the original stiff and unruly ones. My setup is now neater, with fewer coiled or wandering connections, and the sound is great. My only caution about these XL cords is that they do not work for all components because the large metal-encased plugs will not fit into the socket on the back of some of
my components - they are too big (wide). You will have to use AC 14 non-XL plugs on those units. Watch out with small compact units and be sure the cord will fit.”
