“Process was easy to drop off and collect. I think it took 10 minutes for drop off and then took a shuttle bus for the airport and arrived at terminal 2 in no more than 10m. Collection was easy as well. Free shuttle bus took me back to the car park and collected the keys from a locker with ease. Car was located on the same level, picked it up and drove away. Highly recommend this style of car parks for drop & go.”
“The Airport Drop and Go could be great, but this is hugely currently impacted by the current instructions and advice given to customers. The Arrival Procedure details Terminal 1. We had never been to Manchester Airport and spend getting on for a very stressful hour trying to follow the instructions and find the Drop and Go at Terminal 1. As it was in the early hours of the morning (we suspect) no one answered the helpline and there was no one about to ask. Luckliy we eventually checked Google and found that Manachest no longer had a Termial 1! We then drove around Terminals 2 & 3 again, evnutually stumbling on the correct location. (see the section of the instructions below currently sent out).
The Return Procedure would also benefit from some greater clarification as it did not state where to catch the free shuttle bus from or where to take it to. (see below) We therefore ended up following signs for a different Drop and Go service, walking miles with two heavy suitcases and other luggage.
Our simple plea is for you to review the instructions you provided customers, update them and make them clearer.

“Again a great service. Key drop off quick, bus outside so quick drop off. Collection, again a quick transfer. Being a blue badge holder they had brought my car closer to the key collection area.”
“Excellent service, so easy to use and all the staff were excellent, especially the female bus driver who helped EVERYONE with stacking their case on the bus and the man who asked if we'd enjoyed the service when we returned to Manchester - spot on!!!!”
“Competitively priced, easy to book and received NHS staff discount. The process of check in and parking was very easy and clear. Staff were available and helpful and there were direction signs everywhere. Bus transfer to the terminal was easy and frequent and bus driver was very helpful. Same thing on the way back when we collected our car. We felt safe a long the way. I am happy to use this service again.”
“I have used this service several times before. However, this time I was very concerned to find my car to be unlocked when I returned to collect it. I have contacted the Manchester airport about this but have not received any response.”
Hi Mr Hagan,
Thank you for your feedback.
We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and understand how concerning it must have been to find your vehicle unlocked on collection. This is certainly not the level of service expected.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and apologise for the inconvenience caused.
Kind regards,
The APH team
